The transition from so called yout anti-social behaviour to full blown criminality is a worrying trend in the Republic of Ireland. Brought up in environments that are scarce in amenities, apathetic to education and authority, youths quickly become lured into Ireland’s ruthless criminal underworld. Fueled mostly by a hard drugs industry worth an estimated one billion euros per annum, gang violence and murders have become common place.
